Welcome to Mama’s Monthly!
I became a mom a little over two years ago to a precious little girl. She is my pride and joy. I have learned so much during my parenting journey. Of course, one’s perspective changes from the moment it is confirmed that a baby is on the way. You watch what you eat, drink; how much time you sleep, activities you take on and so much more! Pregnancy is a whole world of its own – that experience will be shared some other time.
From the moment my little one was born, my life changed. There were a lot of learnings, so many milestones to catch up on. Being the millennial mom that I am, regular check-ins with they myriad of apps I downloaded is no surprise at all. I had apps to track lactation, apps to help me keep tabs with developmental milestones, apps to guide weaning, apps to monitor sleep patterns… and several others. Soon I’ll share my experience with the apps I used the most – they might be useful to another mommy sometime.
I have always wanted to explore the universe of motherhood. It is that curiosity and appreciation of motherhood that has birthed ‘Mama’s Monthly’. It’s taken me a while to make this a reality, but now that it’s here, I am ecstatic! As someone who strongly believes in the power of learning and story telling, I am so thrilled! This is a space created by a mom, who is learning as she goes. No one has parenting figured out, but we definitely can learn from each other. Mama’s Monthly will explore motherhood in all its tiers, and who better to tell the story than mommies and mommies-to-be themselves?
